Robert "Bobby" A. Saba

Robert "Bobby" A. Saba

B.S. Atmospheric Science
A.S. Electronic Journalism Arts

Originally from Mansfield, Massachusetts, Bobby Saba is graduating with degrees in Atmospheric Sciences and Broadcast and Digital Journalism. With a lifelong passion for the weather, Bobby came to the Northeast Kingdom looking to develop his broadcast skills and enter the field with real-world experience.

Over the last four years at NVU, Bobby has been fully engaged and involved in campus life, despite the challenges of the pandemic. He served on the NVU – Lyndon AMS Student Chapter executive board for three years, and spent two as chapter president. In addition, he had the chance to work at NVU-Lyndon’s Admissions office, as a tutor in mathematics, and provided forecasts for the Vermont Agency of Transportation. Bobby is also a member of the NOAA Hollings Class of 2020.

After learning about the different sectors of atmospheric sciences and being able to explore them through classes and internships, Bobby then changed his post-graduation plans. In August, he will be moving to Norman, Oklahoma, to attend the University of Oklahoma in pursuit of his master’s degree in meteorology.
