Flora-Sae began college with the Community College of Vermont’s Early College program and transferred to Johnson State College in 2016. After complex medical conditions made it challenging for them to succeed in a traditional on-campus learning environment, Flora-Sae enrolled in NVU Online in summer 2018 to complete their degree. “Speaking at my college commencement has long been a dream of mine. Nothing about my educational journey has been traditional, or easy, but that has made it all the more a learning experience.”
